New York Legal Research Library

On this collection of records, Cassidy Cataloguing conferred with Martin Wisneski at Washburn University Law Library because sections of it overlap with previously cataloged HeinOnline collections. For titles that are in the main Legal Classics Library that overlap with the New York Legal Research Library, Martin will be adding to the Legal Classics records URLs that point to the New York Legal Research Library. This has been Martin's practice for Legal Classics titles that overlap other HeinOnline libraries, such as the Selden Society Publications and the World Trials Library. Cassidy Cataloguing Services will be creating NEW MARC21 catalog records for two unique sections of the New York Legal Research Library. They are the Specialty New York Titles and the Legal Classics EXCLUSIVE to the New York Legal Research Library (not available in any other collection in HeinOnline). World Trials Library Records: Phase I

This portion of the World Trials Library was digitized from Cornell University and has been cataloged and designated Phase I. This collection totals approximately 1,655 records. Phase I of the World Trials Collection contains records from March 2007 through October 2008. These records will be uploaded into OCLC and subscribing libraries have the option of adding their holding code to the records for a small fee. At the current time, we have submitted a test file to OCLC and are awaiting their findings of any technical issues.

The quality of work provided by Cassidy and the time you'll save in creating these monthly records equal real value for your library! Upon ordering, you will receive the complete collection of approximately 1,655 records.

OCLC will not be selling the World Trials Library records as a Record Set because Cassidy Cataloguing Services, Inc. will retain exclusive rights. This will be the arangement for future OCLC uploads as well.

Through Cassidy Cataloguing you have the option of being invoiced once or through installments, and as with all collections these records will be emailed as a MRC file for easy loading into your OPAC or ILS.

These records are now also available as Provider-Neutral. The Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC) has approved "Provider-Neutral E-Monograph Guidelines" (effective July 17, 2009) and we've decided to apply the new guidelines to the HeinOnline World Trials Library MARC21 records for both Phase I and Phase II. The Provider-Neutral E-Monograph format will place the original publisher and copyright date in the MARC 260 (imprint) field, and the original copyright date in the fixed field as well. The final report of PCC may be found by following this link: PCC Final Report Click here for more information on this collection offered by HeinOnline

World Trials Library Records: Phase II

Through Cassidy Cataloguing you have the option of being invoiced once or through installments.

These records are now also available as Provider-Neutral.
